Our Customer Care Plan is FREE to every customer and applies to purchases made by the original owner for their vehicle. When you buy from Johnston & Magwood, you don’t just get a product — you get long-term support available at any of our service locations (some conditions apply).

Your Responsibilities to Maintain Coverage
To keep your warranty valid, you must:
1. Rotate tires every 8,000–10,000 km.
2. Ensure your vehicle is properly aligned to prevent uneven wear.
3. Maintain recommended tire pressures (checked monthly).
4. Keep proof of service and rotations.
With these steps, you can visit any Johnston & Magwood location to access your coverage.
Terms & Conditions
Our warranties are limited and apply only when installation (tires, wheels, mechanical parts) is performed by Johnston & Magwood technicians. Coverage is null and void if parts are installed elsewhere or self-installed.
Coverage applies to Passenger & Light Truck vehicles only, excluding those in Commercial or Severe Service (see below), and is conditional upon the owner meeting all obligations above.
We do not cover damage from:
- Modifications
- Accidents
- Misuse or neglect
- Fire, flood, or “Acts of God”
- Work performed by third parties
Limitation of Liability
If a part, product, or labour is deemed defective within the warranty period:
- We will repair or replace it at our discretion.
- Liability is limited to the original purchase price.
- We do not cover loss of use, towing, lost time, revenue, or other consequential damages.
Warranty Qualifications
- Purchase must be fully paid at a Johnston & Magwood location in Canada.
- Claims must be made within 30 days of discovering the issue.
- Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and vehicle.
- Original invoice must be presented.
Exclusions
Coverage does not apply to:
- Off-highway use (construction, farming, forestry, racing)
- Accident-related damage
- Misuse or neglect
- Vehicles exceeding 50,000 km annually in commercial use
Commercial & Severe Service Applications
Vehicles used for commercial or extreme conditions are not covered under the full Customer Care Plan.
They may qualify for our 365-Day / 20,000 km Part & Labour Mechanical Warranty only.
Special Warranty Programs
Mechanical Warranty – 365 Days or 20,000 km
- Covers defects in materials or workmanship for eligible mechanical services.
- We will re-perform the repair or refund the original cost (at our discretion).
- Some exclusions apply (e.g., wheel alignments, internal engine repairs, bodywork, customer-supplied parts).
Lifetime Steering & Suspension Warranty
- Covers parts such as control arms, ball joints, tie rods, and shocks for as long as you own the vehicle.
- Does not include electronic suspension components or steering racks.
3-Year / 40,000 km Brake Warranty
- Covers brake pads, rotors, hydraulics, and related labour.
- Rotor warping is covered for 90 days only.
- ABS components limited to 365-day labour coverage.
Custom Wheel Warranty
- Structural warranty for as long as you own the wheels (original vehicle only).
- Finish warranties vary by type (painted, polished, chrome, etc.).
- Excludes winter damage unless wheels are winter-rated.
